Dusk and Primrose

[ At some point the day after everything went to shit, Primrose is out surveying the kingdom to try and decide on the best place to start building facilities that they desperately need -- she's been here this whole time and doesn't even have an office?

There's bags under her eyes and she looks completely frazzled and unkempt. Alongside her periodic yawning it's pretty clear she hasn't, like, slept. When she bumps into Dusk, she just sort of blinks lazily. ]

Oh, hey boss. You're up already?

[nohalation]

Is it still early~ ?

[Dusk, on the other hand, seems PRETTY AWAKE and alive, though her face does seem a lot less energetic than it normally does.]

[ is it early. IS IT??? she hasn't gone to sleep yet so it must be??? she definitely hasn't been awake for like 30 hours, definitely not, ]

Well hey! I needed to talk to you, anyway. I want an office.

Really? You're not gonna think about it?

You can just find an unused place and call it your office probably?

We also need to talk about Crimson.

...That guy who did those murders at the ball. With the eyes as red as the sun.

The guy we've been dragging around on a leash.

...oh. Okay, what about him?

I need a personal assistant and he's agreed to help us in exchange for his freedom.

Welllll, I don't want him to murder anybody here either.

Obviously! I don't plan on letting him out of my sight, though.

[ I will watch him sleep. ]

Besides, I think me and Slot really got through to him. I'm not gonna say he's a good person now, but I'm pretty sure he'll cooperate.

Well, I guess so . . . if you like him and he becomes your friend, that'll be really nice!

Right, right! I plan on it. He wants a position as an Official, which'll let him help me out a lot better. Someone needs to process all the paperwork we're gonna have to do now that we have a real kingdom, you know?

Speaking of, I'll need you to sign off on that. And his release forms.
